Creating a Welcoming and Vibrant School Together

BSC Info

The Broadway School Committees (BSC) are volunteer-led groups that support our school through campus projects, cultural events, and community-building activities. Committees focus on areas such as Beautification, JEDI, Cultural Events, Lost & Found, Library, Recruiting, Safety, and Room Parents to enrich the student and family experience at Broadway.

  • Get Started

If you’d like to help on campus during school hours, stop by the school office to pick up the two required forms, then complete the LAUSD Volunteer Application linked below. Let’s get started!

  • Join a Committee

Fundraising, Beautification, JEDI (Justice, Equity, Diversity & Inclusion), Dragonsprouts, Día de los Muertos, Sports Day, Chinese New Year, and more school-wide opportunities to get involved.

  • Morning Valet

Parent volunteers run our morning valet to keep drop-off safe and smooth. Each grade takes a week, with service from 7:45–8:15 a.m. at the Reunion Gate. Just 30 minutes makes a big difference — no LAUSD certification required.

  • Offer Your Expertise

Have specific skills or interests but not sure if they’d be helpful? No problem! We’ll work with you to find the perfect way to contribute and make a difference in our school community.

Library Volunteers Wanted
